Acting on a tip, Madera County narcotics officers seized nearly 207 pounds of marijuana and arrested four men from Washington state at a rural house shortly after 7 a.m. Monday.
Officers found the remnants of a marijuana garden in the back yard, the Fresno Bee reports. In the house on Oregon Avenue near Road 28 1/2, officers seized dozens of black trash bags filled with processed marijuana and several small plastic bags of marijuana packaged for sale.
The men, ages 20, 23, 27 and 32, were booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections on suspicion of felony narcotics counts. Two also are being detained by U.S. Immigration and Naturalization officials.
